Corporate Social Responsibility

Being one of the prestigious clubs in the south of the metro, The Palms Country Club Inc. is fully committed not only to giving the best quality food and excellent service to all its members, but also to embody a socially responsible institution to its community.

Over the course of the pandemic, wherein several cities were on lock down, The Palms together with Filinvest Group was able to support several frontliners of Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM). This made the club a temporary home for these modern-day heroes where the Club provided a provisional shelter and nourishment for these individuals to provide them comfort and security amidst the crisis.

The Palms was also able to host several feeding programs in partnership with Philippine Red Cross and Alabang Ladies International Group, Inc. These non-government organizations are in charge of providing sustenance to the underprivileged group around Muntinlupa City. The Palms was able to deliver substantial meals to several areas where these organizations tapped into.

Healthwise, employees of The Palms Country Club willing join The National Blood Services (NBC) of Philippine Red Cross for periodic blood donation to further support those in need of blood transfusion especially those of the indigent group.

In continuous support of the education system, The Club has been in partner with Anihan Technical School in Laguna. The Club provides several job opportunities for the institutions’ students and enables them to hone their skills and develop their knowledge of the industry.

Leaning into the Club’s intent of promoting a sustainable environment, The Palms has ventured into Bokashi Composting which is an anerobic and eco-friendly fermentation process that makes use of kitchen food scraps and organic waste materials. This not only significantly reduced biodegradable waste of the Club but also made the upkeep of the greens in the area more economical and attainable leading to yielding a handful of organic fresh produce as additional products of the Club that the members enjoy.

The Club aims to take part in several areas of the Philippine community, provide support to the impoverished, mentoring those young minds into being a skilled professional and attain an eco-friendly and sustainable environment over the course of the years.
